Stuart Canvas are proud to be supporting Dennis Sisis on their groundsman seminar day in Bristol Tomorrow. These days have proved invaluable in the past for groundsmen who wish to better their skills while taking advise from some of the top cricket groundsmen in the country.
The two powerhouses in turfcare machinery, along with support from other key companies within the groundscare industry, will be staging the insightful event for cricket groundsmen at St Albans School Trust. Attendees will be able to see presentations from an impressive line-up of speakers including Chris Wood, Vic Demain, Andy Clarke, Ian Smith and Ian Wall.
Chris Wood, pitch consultant for the ECB, has an abundance of experience in international pitch inspection, so all delegates can expect to hear first-hand, Chris’ latest ideas and thoughts on producing a suitable playing surface.
Vic Demain, deputy groundsman at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club will be discussing the search for the ultimate cricket wicket. Also, providing insightful tips will be the Institute of Groundmanship’s Andy Clarke, Ian Smith from St Albans School and Ian Wall from the Bank of England Sports Club who will talk about using a cricket pitch for winter sports.
Following presentations, informal discussions will commence where all delegates will get the opportunity to ask any questions they may have to a host of industry professionals including the seminar’s guest speakers.
Attendance to this informative seminar is free and seats are expected to be filled extremely fast.
