The training facility contained a variety of structural elements that required completely different padding profiles, making a standard off-the-shelf solution unsuitable.
Large steel columns, exposed corners and high-impact wall areas all required protection, while electrical installations needed to remain easily accessible for inspection and maintenance.
The finished system also needed to provide the durability required within an elite training environment while maintaining a clean and consistent appearance throughout the facility.

A complete padding system designed around the facility
Working closely with the client, Stuart Canvas designed and manufactured a complete range of bespoke protective padding specifically for the training environment.
Rather than adapting standard products, each component was designed around its individual application and manufactured to suit the dimensions of the structure it needed to protect.
The resulting system combined impact-absorbing materials, durable PVC construction and intelligent removable designs to provide effective protection without restricting future maintenance access.
