SEO & Digital Account Executive

The Group owns the historic Mudfords brand, which was founded in 1832. Mudfords is a leading supplier to the construction and haulage industries.

The Role:

We have an existing role for an SEO & Digital Account Executive to join our growing team. As an SEO & Digital Account Executive, your focus will be driving traffic and conversions to the company’s four websites via lead generation and e-commerce sales. You will be responsible for creating and implementing the company’s SEO and digital marketing tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies that drive traffic and improve search engine rankings.
  • Monitor website performance using industry tools such as GA4, Moz, Screaming Frog and Search Console.
  • Produce and maintain regular reports on the SEO performance of each website.
  • Develop and execute e-commerce sales growth strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing manager to develop the digital marketing function of the business.
  • Identify new opportunities for new and alternative digital communication methods with our customers and prospects.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for digital optimisation.
  • Complete technical website audits.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Promote the groups brands and products.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Sales Director on content creation to ensure SEO best practices.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
  • An understanding of PPC Strategies, specialising in Google Ads would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven success in implementing effective website improvement techniques.
  • Experience with SEO plugins for CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
  • A keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A driving license and can travel.
