The Role

A Haulage Cover Sales Representative is required to manage existing accounts and develop new business within the independent retail channel across the North of England & Midlands

You will develop customer relationships with new and existing customers, typically large haulage companies, there will be a customer base to develop and exploit

The role would benefit a self-motivated individual seeking their first role in field sales, as a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme is provided. Applications are encouraged from those working in haulage sales or working with the haulage industry.

This is a field based role and therefore should live in the Northwest of England.

Key Objective

Achieve territory revenue growth through effective sales and marketing initiatives. Increase range penetration within the existing account portfolio, and secure new product listings within new accounts.


  • Manage and develop an existing account portfolio through a long-term relationship
  • Effective account planning, diary and journey management
  • Proactively identify prospect customers and secure new business
  • Maximise product sell-in to increase listings
  • Develop company presence through attending trade shows and marketing events
  • Promote new seasonal ranges
  • Achieve high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity
  • Price negotiations.
  • Achieve agreed KPI’s and sales targets
  • Work to a consistently high standard

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative
  • Have worked in the Haulage industry in a sales capacity and have an understanding of the industry and trucks in general
  • Proven relationship builder
  • Confident in your ability to win new business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Results oriented to achieve sales and activity target
  • Able to create productive internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Knowledge of IT software packages, including Word and Excel.
  • Must have a clean driving license

LTA Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Nantwich – CW5

Established for over 40 years, Stuart Canvas Ltd is the UK’s leading manufacturer of industrial, haulage and sports covers. Due to continued growth, we currently have a vacancy for a full time Tennis Warehouse Team Leader.

This is a very hand’s on role and will require the successful candidate to:

  • Act as a team leader for the LTA tennis warehouse
  • Manage one full time member of staff and additional staffing as and when required
  • Working closely with the LTA project manager and the LTA (customer) to organise deliveries and potential installations at various LTA venues around the country
  • Ensure all equipment is ready prior to delivery and is collected on time
  • Strip, prime and paint various pieces of iron work
  • Strip, prime and varnish all net posts and single sticks
  • Ensure that all of the LTA (customer) equipment is kept in the best possible condition
  • You will be required to deliver/collect/install stock at various locations throughout the UK. Overnight stays will be required when installing equipment, this may be at short notice
  • Ensure costs are kept to a minimum
  • There will be the occasional requirement to work weekends

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent at multitasking
  • Organised and diligent
  • Computer literate, must have a working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Must have a full driving licence
  • Excellent communications skills
  • An interest or understanding of tennis would be an advantage

Job Summary:

As an Inbound sales advisor/administrator you will be the first point of contact for our telephone and online customers, helping them to place orders, check delivery timescales combined with any general questions or queries they may have. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a passion for Sales and customer service with the confidence to work well in a team environment.

As a Customer Sales Advisor, your key skills should include:

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner as you will be the first point of contact via email, telephone and website queries, administering sales orders/quotations, ensuring customer delivery dates are met.

  • Excellent numerical and IT skills; the ability to utilise in-house computer systems, training will be given. You must, however, be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Industrial Machinist

Job Summary:
To sew various types of Cloth mainly, PVC, Canvas & Netting using an Industrial sewing machine. Ideally be familiar with single and double stitch machines.  An exciting permanent position has arisen for an Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a growing and highly successful established company and become part of our busy production team.


  • Must have at least 1 year Industrial Sewing experience within the last 5 years
  • Knowledge of industrial cloths preferred such as Canvass & PVC or have a background in leather or heavy cloth.
  • Able to work off simple drawings
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Able to work alone or part of a team
  • Good communication skills
