Sunshades at Wimbledon Tennis Championships

Stuart Canvas is proud of our new introduction to the famous umpire chair at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in 2017. We were asked by the club to design a new sunshade to protect the umpires from the sun which has caused issues in the past. We came up with a few designs but the option for a fairly simple design that allows the umpire to easily get in and out of the chair without hitting their head while protecting them from the overhead sun, was the best option 

The sunshades can be removed in a matter of seconds in case they are not needed.  For the 2017 championships, they definitely have been needed and have been a great addition to the chair.
