Process of how a cricket training facility is completed

Our cricket training facility is made up of a dynamic porous aggregate base, which takes into consideration a civil engineering background and excellent cricket understanding.

The sub base is housed inside a solid concrete curb edge. We keep in line with the latest technology and have moved away from using timber edges which will rot over time. The SCP Deluxe System only uses two aggregates in the whole system offering a uniformed and consistent playing surface.

The SCP Deluxe System offers the highest steelwork in the market place at 4 meters. This offers room for spinners to practice “flighting” the ball. We use  48.3mm galvanised tube , set inside 500mm ground sockets for added stability.

Once the levels of the playing surface have reached the correct standards, we install our shock pads. The SCP12 performance batting shock pad is used in all of our batting areas and the SCP load absorbing Bowler Pad in the bowling areas to help protect the bowlers ankles, knees and lower backs.

The SCP Deluxe System uses the latest carpet technology. Our carpets are non-directional and provide consistent pace and bounce whilst at the same time offering enough grip for spinners. The SCP Deluxe carpet is used at Worcestershire and Leicestershire County Cricket Clubs and is renowned for offering the best playing characteristics in the market place.

Netting:

We have several options of netting available for your cricket training facility which depends on what you require. For example, a County system which is heavily used will require different netting compared to a grass root club , which may only be used occasionally. Please visit our cricket netting page for more information.

Batting Curtains:

We manufacture bespoke batting curtains for safety and to prolong the life of your nets. Please visit our batting curtains page for more information.
