Site Operative / Labourer

Due to continual business growth, we are looking to recruit site operatives for the installation of our Non-Turf product and steel structures.

In this role, you will work as part of a team installing artificial cricket pitches and cricket systems around the country. There will also be the requirement to install retractable steel tunnels at sports venues and commercial premises. This role will involve regular travel around the country and nights away from home.

The successful candidate should be a good team player and ideally have experience in the construction of artificial sports facilities. You should be diligent with a good customer service attitude.

The role will include:

  • The construction of non-turf cricket pitches and systems
  • The erection of steel sections
  • Operate any of the following: Excavator, Dumper or roller
  • Have used and have experience of using Laser equipment
  • Follow plans and drawings closely
  • Work closely with the contracts manager and foreman
  • Picking of stock
  • Loading and unloading of stock/goods
  • Ensure that H&S is complied with
  • Keep checklists and all paperwork up to date
  • The installation of artificial grass

The candidate should ideally have experience of installing Artificial Grass on sports grounds, although not essential.

It is preferred that the candidate holds the following licenses:

  • CPCS or ITSSAR or NPORS license for excavator, dumpers and rollers (not essential)
  • Site operatives CSCS card
  • A towing license

It is essential that the candidate holds the following licenses:

  • Full Driving license

Foreman / Excavator Operator

Due to continual business growth, we are looking to recruit a groundwork/civil foreman with excavator experience for the installation of our bespoke sports facilities and steel structures.

Reporting directly to the contract manager, in this role you will work leading a team installing artificial cricket pitches and cricket systems around the country. There will also be the requirement to install retractable steel tunnels and other minor civil/drainage projects. This role will involve travel around the country and nights away from home.

The successful candidate should be a good team player and ideally have experience in the construction of artificial sports facilities. You should be diligent with a good customer service attitude.

The role will include:
– The construction of non-turf cricket pitches and systems
– The erection of steel sections
– Operate any of the following: Excavator, Dumper or roller
– Have experience of using Laser equipment and be confident in its use
– Follow plans and drawings closely
– Work closely with the contracts manager and lead a small team
– Picking of stock
– Loading and unloading of stock/goods
– Ensure that H&S is complied with
– Keep checklists and all paperwork up to date
– The laying of artificial grass

The candidate should ideally have experience of installing Artificial Grass on sports grounds and a minimum of 2 years in a similar leadership role.

The candidate must hold the following licenses:
– CPCS or ITSSAR or NPORS license for excavator, dumpers and rollers
– Site operatives CSCS card
– A towing license is required
– Full Driving license

Competitive basic salary – £30,000 OTE

The Role

A Haulage Cover Sales Representative is required to manage existing accounts and develop new business within the independent retail channel across the North of England & Midlands

You will develop customer relationships with new and existing customers, typically large haulage companies, there will be a customer base to develop and exploit

The role would benefit a self-motivated individual seeking their first role in field sales, as a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme is provided. Applications are encouraged from those working in haulage sales or working with the haulage industry.

This is a field based role and therefore should live in the Northwest of England.

Key Objective

Achieve territory revenue growth through effective sales and marketing initiatives. Increase range penetration within the existing account portfolio, and secure new product listings within new accounts.

Duties

  • Manage and develop an existing account portfolio through a long-term relationship
  • Effective account planning, diary and journey management
  • Proactively identify prospect customers and secure new business
  • Maximise product sell-in to increase listings
  • Develop company presence through attending trade shows and marketing events
  • Promote new seasonal ranges
  • Achieve high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity
  • Price negotiations.
  • Achieve agreed KPI’s and sales targets
  • Work to a consistently high standard

Industrial Machinist

Job Summary:
To sew various types of Cloth mainly, PVC, Canvas & Netting using an Industrial sewing machine. Ideally be familiar with single and double stitch machines.  An exciting permanent position has arisen for an Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a growing and highly successful established company and become part of our busy production team.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year Industrial Sewing experience within the last 5 years
  • Knowledge of industrial cloths preferred such as Canvass & PVC or have a background in leather or heavy cloth.
  • Able to work off simple drawings
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Able to work alone or part of a team
  • Good communication skills
